Who are Kids in the Street?
KITS is a mobile sport facility which operates in the East of Edinburgh. The pitch comes in a trailer and goes together kind of like mechano and a net goes round the top to stop the ball bouncing out. We mainly use the pitch for playing football but it can be used for basketball, hockey and netball.
We can also set the pitch up on grass, concrete or sand, for days down at the beach and it only takes about half an hour to set up (depending on how many people are helping!)
We are able to attend gala and fund raising events as well as be hired out for little or no charge to local voluntary organisations. Please click on the link to the contact page and someone will get back to you with more details.
During the summer months we try to be out every day especially during school holiday times, but we are also looking into running various sports skills courses indoors too.
